Man you know I do like this site a whole lot though. The vibe here is extremely relaxing - I hope it gets the extra metric support i'm looking for but I really appreciate being able to open it and get excited at the idea there might be an ask or something to answer or something cool to see. Enormous fan - they borrow a lot from myriad other sources and their depictions have been very wide-ranging in terms of style and format so it's not like "phyrexian" is a single aesthetic, but if I ever did get the call from Wizards i'm sure it'd be to work on one of them lol. I think at one point "please draw Elesh Norn" was the most common ask I received on tumblr.
Posting this one here mostly bc I wanted to share the giggle I had when the client first contacted me saying they wanted their Night Elf character "mashed up with battle angel vibes" and I was literally typing "oh wow yeah I love Battle Angel Alita she'll look great as a cyborg" and then they sent me like 4-5 images of angels in armour like... literal "Battle angels". Lovely client, lot of fun with this altho the design had to be kept simple since it's a sketch only, just that little memory is very funny to me.
