This one's a little older now but in the interest of sharing more work I usually don't bring to the forefront, i'm still really proud of this piece for a client of their shark girl with Big Tits. It's so weird how a given piece can go from being something I was deeply frustrated with at the time to a piece i'm now extremely pleased with in retrospect lol

I really need to get back to painting more studies - not just for the obvious benefits, but because I forgot how meditative and satisfying they are as an exercise in rendering without having to think too much about design so much as pure technique. Often i'll look at a specific ref image and get excited at the idea of doing a study from it just for the sheer tactile pleasure of it.

As an aside, I don't have a codified fursona but it would definitely be a horse.

This is something I was messing around with yesterday evening since I found myself with some time before I had to get back to Work Work - i'm lately really captivated by the specific proportions of the core "Gundam" template and i'm also trying to figure out a new twist on the visual language I use for "biomecha"... I want to be able to paint something that feels like a "Machine assembled from meat" as well as something that looks like a whole organism. It's a work in progress! This one is loosely inspired by the Zeta Gundam but drifting further as I work on it. It'll likely stay as an exploratory bust so I can preserve most of my time for game/client work.
