Dickgirl and illustrator. This is my personal blog, zero professionalism here, please respect that. 18+, I will be openly posting whatever.

I can't force anyone to comment on stuff (the only lasting/visible evidence that a post has been seen) but I still don't like the way this site does "Phantom" notifications that exist only until they roll off your notif page. At the very least it'd be nice to follow a share chain and find people on old posts whose blogs might have something I resonate with.

Im always curious about peoples optimal creative zone. Do you like to listen to music when you paint? Do you prefer silence? Movie on in the bg?

I need bg noise to function, it's like the only way I can work, haha. I need a sweet spot of genuine interest in what i'm listening to and the ability to tune out without missing much - novelty and familiarity both. It's very hard to find hours and hours of the precise kind of noise I need, but favourite LPs and bad horror movies work very well. Sometimes when a piece is nearly done and it's just the fun little colour tweaks and stuff I don't have to focus too hard for i'll put on music that resonates emotionally, but that's kind of a special moment and not super common.

Is there a particular game you've found yourself returning to over the years, maybe for inspiration or just because you really like it?

FFX is something i've found to be an endless well of restorative inspiration. The intensity and audacity of the colour palette, seeing Tetsu Tsukamoto's design work at (imo) his pinnacle - Anima alone could keep me fed for a hundred winters, but the game as a whole i just this endless feast.
